Facebook: il Museo di Auschwitz raggiunge il social network

AuschwitzAuschwitz. Un nome tanti significati. Tra i più importanti quello dell’Olocausto che ha visto come protagonisti centinaia di migliaia di ebrei uccisi nel camo di concentramento che si trova tutt’ora in Polonia, vicino alla località di Oswiecim. Auschwitz il Museo,dove tutto è rimasto così come era una volta: i cavi spinati, le camere a gas, le scarpe e gli indumenti dei prigionieri.

Auschwitz Memorial, la pagina creata in questi giorni su Facebook per ricordare agli utenti del social network quello che è successo e che non deve più accadere. Un modo nuovo per dire no all’indifferenza, come ha dichiarato Pawel Sawicki, portavoce del Museo a Reuters.

L’indifferenza era un grosso problema durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, durante l’Olocausto. La maggior parte della gente ha adottato un comportamento passivo, hanno deciso di non fare nulla quando stava accadendo qualcosa di malvagio.

La loro scusa era che non vedevano, non volevano vedere. Spero che una simile pagina su Facebook, che non rappresenta che una piccola parte della nostra attività, porterà la gente a passare da un’attitudine passiva ad una attiva, quando succede qualcosa di brutto. Se soltanto una persona fosse convinta a cambiare comportamento, sarebbe già un grande successo.

La pagina su Facebook sin da subito ha riscontrato un enorme successo. In pochi giorni più di 8.000 utenti sono diventati fan e hanno postato commenti ad immagini e foto. Nella pagina è infatti possibile aprire e partecipare a nuove discussioni, tenendo a mente però le regole del Museo: niente frasi offensive e nessun attacco diretto verso gli altri utenti.

Si possono esporre le proprie idee, qualsiasi esse siano, basta proporre le proprie argomentazioni con garbo e spirito di autocritica. Oltre a commenti, si possono aggiungere nuove foto scattate sul posto durante una visita oppure aggiungere video.

Speriamo Facebook possa essere un valido strumento per ricordare l’accaduto di Auschwitz e che i suoi fan non si aggiungano giusto per postare qualche commento e poi dimenticare.

  4. Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and all. However just imagine if you added some great visuals or video clips to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with images and video clips, this site could undeniably be one of the greatest in its niche. Very good blog!

  6. Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
