Facebook è sempre più…anziano

Ebbene si, il fenomeno diffusosi sul media giovane per eccellenza, Internet, nell’epoca del Web 2.0 è adesso il protagonista del cosiddetto “boom 55“. Sicuramente tra i primi curiosi che si sono avvicinati al social network ci sono tutti giovanissimi, teenager e qualcuno sulla trentina, eppure, man mano che il progetto incalzava e prendeva sempre più spazio nelle nostre vite quotidiane on line, sempre più persone adulte si avvicinavano al social network. Vuoi per poter controllare i figli, spesso minorenni, vuoi per curiosità di vedere questo mondo giovane in cosa consiste, nel tempo l’età media di Facebook è aumentata al punto da fornire ad oggi, Luglio 2009 delle stime alquanto “inaspettate”.
Secondo i report stimati a Giugno del 2009, infatti, l’età media dei frequentanti di Facebook è over 55 anni. Questo fenomeno chiamato dagli esperti “boom 55”, è constatabile liberamente da qualsiasi utente, se considera il numero di adulti over 50 anni che si iscrive quotidianamente al social network. Sembra che pian piano stia diventando una sorta di censimento on line, dove ci sono tutti.

Non è più un luogo dove non c’è chiunque…anche se ci sono utenti non proprio “attivi”, la grande rete sociale di Facebook è riuscita a far iscrivere chiunque avesse un indirizzo e-mail, ed anche a far creare un indirizzo e-mail a chi non l’ha mai avuto.
E’ finita quindi l’epoca del social network dedicato agli universitari, oggi ci sono veramente tutti. Secondo i dati che sono stati forniti da una ricerca stimata da iStrategy Labs, laboratorio di ricerche on line sul mercato, è venuto fuori che gli over 55 anni iscritti a Facebook negli ultimi 6 mesi abbiano superato di oltre il 513,7% il numero di iscritti dello scorso anno, contro un 16,5% di studenti liceali iscritti e circa il 21,7% degli universitari.
Su argomentazioni del genere è di prossima uscita, “l’ennesimo” libro inchiesta sul fenomeno che parla di Mark Zuckerberg e delle sue opere messe a punto solo per conoscere le ragazze di Harvard.
