Facebook: 3 mesi di carcere per cyberbullismo

FacebookTre mesi di carcere per riflettere per come ha insultato e perseguitato una sua ex compagna di scuola. Questa è stata la sentenza della corte britannica per Keeley Houghton, ragazza inglese di 18 anni. E’ il primo caso di processo per cyberbullismo e forse non sarà l’ultimo. Si perchè proprio per il coraggio dimostrata dalla ragazza denunciatrice, altri migliaia di suoi coetanei potrebbero finalmente ribellarsi alla pressione dei bulli che li opprimono.

Tre mesi in un carcere giovanile. Le offese e le minacce erano in realtà iniziate 4 anni prima e sono continuate fino a pochi giorni. A scuola, per i bar, per strada, appena le due si incontravano, Keeley non le dava pace. Nel 2005 era arrivata anche a prendere a calci la porta di casa della malcapitata. Un odio profondo inspiegabile, che l’ha portata qualche anno dopo a picchiarla all’uscita della scuola, con conseguente espulsione dell’istituto. L’ultimo atto d’offesa è stato scrivere su Facebook:

Keeley is going to murder the bitch. She is an actress. What a ******* liberty. Emily ****head Moore.

Ora Emily potrà finalmente vivere in pace. Ma per quanto? Qualcuno teme che Keeley compiere atti di ritorsione contro la ragazza, in modo da vendicarsi per il periodo di prigionia. Ma forse dovrà far bene attenzione a non prendere queste iniziative, soprattutto dopo che la corte inglese ha specificato che non potrà tenere alcun contatto con Emily, via telefono, chat, social network, dal vivo e ogni tipo di comunicazione.

Se dovesse infrangere questo, Keeley, nonostante la giovane età, potrebbe iniziare a scrivere un bel curriculum di arresti ed essere schedata dalla polizia.

Finalmente, almeno in Inghilterra, qualcuno inizia ad agire per questo noto cyberbullismo. Questo atteggiamento sarebbe gradito anche da parte del Governo italiano. Anche qui questi casi sono molti e noti, ma nessuno prende una concreta iniziativa per farli cessare.
