Anche Facebook ha la sua mascotte: si chiama Mitik ed è un tricheco

Mascotte Facebook

Probabilmente la cosa non è nota a tutti ma anche Facebook, così come Twitter, ha una sua mascotte: un tricheco di nome Mitik che sin da subito è entrato nel cuore del giovane CEO del celebre social network tanto da spingerlo a dedicargli una pagina apposita.

La scelta della mascotte di Facebook è però decisamente ben più recente rispetto all’anno durante il quale Mark Zuckerberg mise online la propria creatura social e risale, per l’esattezza, a giungo dell’anno corrente quanto, appunto, il tricheco è stato salvato nel mare aperto al largo delle coste dell’Alaska.

Mark Zuckernerg, per esser più precisi, non ha scelto personalmente di far diventare Mitik la mascotte di Facebook ma tramite il social network ha creato, appunto, un’apposita pagina grazie al quale cercare di sostenere con tutti gli aiuti possibili la vita del tricheco e che giorno dopo giorno ha ottenuto sempre più maggior successo oltre, ovviamente, che il favore dell’utenza.

Mitik è stato poi adottato dal team di animazione di Facebook e al momento può contare su quasi 7000 Mi piace sulla sua pagina.

Attualmente il tricheco, di cui ne è disponibile un’immagine ad inizio post, risiede nel New York Acquarium e stando a quanto dichiarato da Marta Hiatt, addetta ai lavori che ha accompagnato Mitik nel viaggio dall’Alaska agli USA, è un vero e proprio coccolone.

Avendo affrontato numerosi problemi di salute il tricheco è, allo stato attuale delle cose, in quarantena ed è tenuto costantemente sotto controllo.

In ogni caso, stando a quelle che sono le più recenti informazioni in circolo, sembra proprio che Mark Zuckerberg abbia scelto di finanziare e sostenere con gli incassi derivanti dall’attività di Facebook la vita del giovane tricheco che una volta ripresosi completamente verrà mostrato pubblicamente a tutti, così come dichiarato dallo stesso CEO del social network.
