Il fenomeno così diffuso tra lo star system americano, è venuto incontro all’idea di aumentare il contatto con i fans e procurarsene eventualmente di nuovi.
Casi importanti di questo fenomeno sono riscontrati in John Mayer, l’ex fidanzato della bella Jennifer Aniston, o ancora la coppia formata da Ashton Kutcher e Demi Moore. Questi ultimi in questi giorni sono stati accusati anche dai media di essere dipendenti in maniera molto ossessiava dal mondo virtuale di Internet. Zac Efron invece no. L’idolo delle giovanissime non la pensa diversamente dagli altri, ama la sua privacy. Il giovane attore di “High School Musical“, apprezzato dalle giovanissime che aprono siti, blog e forum ovunque su di lui, non si è dichiarato interessato al mondo del social networking tanto da dichiarare in un’intervista che: “Non ho Twitter o Facebook o MySpace o nessuna cosa vagamente simile. Non mi interessa che la gente sappia dove sono e cosa sto facendo! Sono in bagno. Sono ancora in bagno. Ragazzi, toc, toc, toc, sono ancora in bagno! E’ assurdo far leggere agli altri cose simili“. Secondo le sue dichiarazioni è assurdo e ridicolo che i frequentatori dei siti simili possano scrivere in ogni attimo della giornata ciò che pensano, oppure scrivono in un determinato momento della giornata.
Un semplice modo per farsi un po’ di pubblicità con i media oppure ha veramente ragione e non è possibile dargli torto? Staremo a vedere i suoi colleghi di Hollywood come reagiranno di conseguenza e se troveranno anch’essi “inutile” per i fans dire tutto quel che stanno facendo o pensando…tranne per gli ossessionati dai divi.
