Nei giorni scorsi WhatsApp è stato soggetto ad un aggiornamento con il quale il team del celebre servizio di instant messaging ha provveduto ad introdurre la doppia spunta blu che permette agli utenti di sapere quando il destinatario ha effettivamente letto i messaggi inviati.

Per quanto utile possa essere la nuova feature non è però stata accolta nel migliore dei modi da molti utenti. A tal proposito qualche giorno fa abbiamo avuto modo di scoprire alcuni trucchi per WhatsApp grazie ai quali aggirare la doppia spunta blu ma a quanto pare entro breve non ci sarà più bisogno di escamotage particolari per riuscire nell’impresa. Nel corso delle ultime ore è stato infatti reso noto che la prossima versione di WhatsApp includerà un’opzione per disabilitare la doppia spunta blu.

Stando a quanto segnalato da diversi utenti nella versione beta di WhatsApp rilasciata praticamente in concomitanza dell’ultima release più stabile nel menu delle impostazioni è stata inserita una spunta che permette di disabilitare o meno la conferma di lettura. Si tratta di una novità molto importante poiché in questo modo nessuno sarà più costretto a confermare la lettura del messaggio al mittente.

Al momento non ci sono ancora date di rilascio sul prossimo aggiornamento dell’app con cui verrà introdotta l’opzione per disabilitare la doppia spunta blu ma considerando le lamentele degli utenti i tempi dovrebbero essere abbastanza ristretti. È infatti intenzione della squadra alle spalle di WhatsApp riuscire a contenere il più possibile la gran polemica che si è sollevata per quanto riguarda il discorso privacy e doppia spunta.
