Twitter Local Trend

 

 

La possibilità di utilizzare un social network come fonte di notizie, quotidianamente si sta espandendo, fino a far diventare Twitter uno dei capi più saldi di questa pionieristica modalità di utilizzo del sito nato per scopi ludici.

 
L’affollarsi però di notizie sul microblogging ha creato di recente un po’ di confusione, soprattutto nel comprendere da dove partano le notizie e catalogarne le fonti in maniera appropriata, per questo lo staff tecnico del sito ha risolto il problema sviluppando un nuovo sistema che cataloga i Tweet Globali in Locali.

 
Il servizio si chiama Twitter Local Trend e consente di selezionare una Regione geografica e vedere di conseguenza quali sono gli avvenimenti e gli argomenti più cliccati e postati in quella zona. Per ora l’utilizzo è limitato a 15 città degli Stati Uniti d’America ed altre 5 mondiali tra cui rispecchiano Londra e San Paolo.

 
Lo staff ha dichiarato sul blog del progetto che questa attività: “può far luce sulle conversazioni popolari. È interessante sapere che un argomento può diffondersi in tutto il mondo in tempo reale, e Twitter Trend ci aiuta a scoprire quali di questi temi sono di primaria importanza su scala globale“.

 
I vantaggi che arrivano da questo prodotto sono quelli di poter capire le tendenze locali e permettere anche alle aziende di fare dei confronti statistici sugli interessi divisi in termini geografici.

  15. Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said
    “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
    There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
    She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic
    but I had to tell someone!

  25. After I initially commented I seem to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now every time a comment
    is added I receive four emails with the exact same
    comment. Perhaps there is a means you can remove me from that service?

    It seems like some of the written text in your content are running off the screen. Can somebody else please comment

    But, what about this? suppose you were to create a killer headline?
    I mean, I don’t wish to tell you how to run your website, however what if you added something to maybe grab people’s attention? I mean Twitter aggiunge i Local Trend | IoChatto is a little boring.
    You should peek at Yahoo’s front page and watch how they create post titles to grab people interested.
    You might add a video or a related pic or two to get readers excited
    about what you’ve got to say. Just my opinion, it could make your posts a little bit more
    interesting.
