Tutorial: Integrare Facebook Connect in un sito sviluppato con CMS (Lesson 2)

La prima lezione ci ha insegnato ad installare il nostro plug-in all’interno del CMS per renderlo performate e funzionante. In questa seconda lezione andremo ad effettuare la configurazione del plug-in e la personalizzazione grafica / funzionale dell’integrazione tra Facebook Connect w WordPress.

Per questa seconda lezione avremo bisogno di qualche nozione tecnica in più perchè andremo ad interagire direttamente sul codice delle pagine, ma proseguiamo:

Come primo step occorre aprire il file del vostro template in modalità di modifica (utilizzando il comando “Apri con…” e selezionando “Blocco Note“) e nello specifico il file header.php.
A questo punto identificate all’interno dei comandi iniziali il tag <html> ed aggiungete la presenza di Facebook tramite Facebook Connect allo stesso come indicato nell’esempio sottostante:

Salviamo con File e Salva la modifiche apportate.

Ora andiamo a vedere come inserire molto semplicemente la Widget bar nella nostra barra dei menu con le procedure guidate.
(Questa procedura mostrerà il login standard di Facebook nel vostro sito. Nell’ultima lezione vedremo invece come è possibile effettuare la personalizzazione del login).

Nel menu Amministratore di WordPress, andare nella pagina Aspetto e poi in quella Widget. Il tema standard utilizzato per WordPress e quelli ufficiali (non personalizzati dagli utenti) accettano di default il Widget standard e quindi di conseguenza basterà mettere il segno di spunta su Facebook Connector. Si aprirà l’editor di Facebook Connector dove si potranno modificare i layout grafici, i testi e tutte le opzioni di correlazione a proprio piacimento. A tal punto fare click su Salva per rendere le impostazioni permanenti.
L’attivazione di questo Widget, farà si che verrà inserita nella barra laterale del Vostro sito, un link di login standard di Facebook ed un piccolo riquadro con l’avatar degli ultimi visitatori del vostro sito.
(www.Iochatto.com pubblicherà durante l’anno dei tutorial su come modificare i CSS per personalizzare i riquadri di login).

Con questa semplice procedura standard, potreste aver già terminato l’integrazione perchè al loggarsi dell’utente in Facebook, sarà automaticamente autenticato per il Vostro sito e quindi avere interazione con esso (commentare articoli, lasciare o scrivere tracce, ecc.) senza doversi loggare nuovamente.
