Shorty Awards, gli Oscar di Twitter

Shorty AwardsIl 28 marzo scorso si è tenuta la terza edizione degli Shorty Awards, in diretta da New York, gli Oscar attribuiti alle personalità ed alle aziende più popolari sul noto sito di microblogging.

A Times Square ha presenziato anche il “nostro” Paolo Nespoli, ormai una vera celebrità nella twittersfera, ovviamente erano presenti anche attori e webstar come Kiefer Sutherland.

Iniziamo però a parlare dei premiati, la popstar coreana Kim Jae Joong ha vinto il premio assoluto come “miglior celebrità”, mentre i Jonas Brothers hanno battuto il seguitissimo Justin Bieber nella categoria musicale. Neil Patrick Harris, protagonista di E adesso arriva mamma, ha vinto il premio riservato agli attori, per l’ottima interpretazione di Barney Stinson, personaggio principale della serie TV. Anche Conan O’Brien ha ritirato una statuetta, il presentatore ha trionfato nella categoria “Best TV Show”.

Per quanto riguarda le aziende invece agli Shorty Awards hanno trionfato RIM (BlackBerry), Gillette ed HBO (canale TV americano), per la qualità dei tweet e per aver creato una community solida e sempre attiva. Chiudiamo con lo sport, i New Orleans Saints (NFL) hanno vinto il premio nella categoria “miglior squadra”, il loro account è seguitissimo ed aggiornato con cadenza regolare.
