Nuova partnership IT tra MySpace e Fox International Channels

L’annuncio è arrivato proprio ieri ed è stato subito reso noto da tutti i network economici mondiali. Il colosso di Rupert Murdoch, MySpace e la nota emittente Fox International Channels,hanno annunciato il definitivo avvio di una partnership internazionale che vedrà la società Fox International Channels come gestore di attività per raccolta pubblicitaria, di marketing e di promozione per MySpace nelle versioni di Italia, Argentina, Brasile, Messico, Polonia, Spagna e Turchia.
Secondo quanto dichiarato da Owen Van Natta, Chief Executive Officer di MySpace: “La nuova partnership con Fox International Channels consentirà a MySpace di ridurre i costi operativi e ottimizzare i rapporti col mercato a livello locale. Questa iniziativa è il risultato della nostra recente ristrutturazione internazionale e consentirà a MySpace di continuare a soddisfare i suoi molti utenti, partner e investitori in alcuni dei più importanti territori in cui il nostro social network è presente”.
A partire già da ieri, infatti, lo staff di Fox International Channels, attuale gestore di 170 canali televisivi lineari e non lineari, oltre che siti Web con le relative raccolte pubblicitarie, si occupa anche delle attività di promozione, pubblicità e marketing per MySpace nei paesi che abbiamo su menzionato, per tentare di dare un nuovo apporto commerciale al motore sociale che ultimamente sembra essere in declino.
A commentare l’accordo anche Hernan Lopez, Chief Operating Officer di Fox International Channels che con aria soddisfatta ha dichiarato: “Siamo entusiasti di avere parte nelle attività internazionali di MySpace’s in Europa e America Latina e siamo certi che la nostra esperienza nel campo di Internet e in quello della raccolta pubblicitaria sarà di stimolo per MySpace per costruire nuove significative operazioni che andranno a vantaggio dei suoi utenti internazionali come dei partner e degli investitori”.
Vedremo se le ansie e le preoccupazioni di Murdoch andranno a calare dopo l’arrivo di Fox International Channels in casa MySpace. Come ben sappiamo ultimamente, l’unica chanches vista dalla vecchia gloria dei social network è stata trovata nei licenziamenti del personale.
