Il nuovo look di FriendFeed delude gli utenti

E’ finalmente disponibile on line la nuova versione di FriendFeed che fino a qualche giorno fa era utilizzabile solo in beta test. Il nuovo look della social application, abilita tutti gli utenti del sito a modificare l’interfaccia della propria navigazione e del proprio profil. Le principali funzioni del network sono rimaste completamente immutate, ma le novità principali, riguardano soprattutto la possibilità data agli utenti di raggruppare e di seguire una traccia tra tutti i vari profili e le varie attività svolte all’interno dei social network frequentati da noi e dai nostri contatti. Un modo per visualizzare in real time tutto ciò che i nostri utenti amici stanno facendo.
La novità non si fermano qui, perchè riguardano anche la localizzazione della piattaforma di social network che come abbiamo già scritto tempo addietro, ha aggiunto alla sua interfaccia lingue nuove tra cui l’italiano. Bret Taylor, uno dei fondatori di FriendFeed, si dice sempre più soddisfatto degli aggiornamenti del sito, anche se secondo lui: “L’italiano è sempre stato un sorvegliato speciale nella nostra lista del “to-do”. Da Dicembre in avanti, siamo stati molto felici di vedere crescere stabilmente la nostra base di utenti italiana. Speriamo che questa interfaccia possa migliorare l’esperienza di quegli utenti, e permettere ad altri potenziali membri che parlino l’italiano di scoprire ed apprezzare FriendFeed.”
Fatto sta che comunque il nuovo look del social network sembra non piacere molto agli utenti, che continuano a lanciare post e commenti nella blogosfera, accusando il sito di FriendFeed di trasformarsi sempre più in una brutta copia (almeno dal punto di vista dell’interfaccia) di Twitter. Personaggio cardine del sollevamento di questa discussione, sicuramente è stato Robert Scoble, uno dei blogger più seguito al mondo e Technical Evangelist per casa Microsoft. Le sue perplessità, sono note proprio su FriendFeed, dove in un paragrafetto ha descritto la sua delusione seguito da tantissimi commenti di altri utenti delusi per la stessa ragione.
