L’obiettivo del social network fa venire in mente quello del cartone animato della Warner Bross: Mignolo ed il Prof…sembra infatti che Mark Zuckerberg, con il suo Facebook si sta dando da fare per “conquistare il mondo”. A dare conferma di questo, il comunicato stampa dell’apertura del primo ufficio di Facebook in India, dove il giovane ex studente di Harvard, vorrebbe entrare per espandere l’attività di social networking che risulta più lenta in quel Paese.
L’ufficio sarà aperto nella città di Hyderabad, con le stesse caratteristiche e funzionalità degli altri centri operativi della società. Secondo Mr Don Faul, direttore delle operazioni globali online per il Paese: “In India, abbiamo gia’ oltre 8 milioni attivamente connesse a Facebook“.


Attualmente con le 70 lingue diverse offerte da Facebook, è interessante pensare a come sfruttare una “connessione globale” con il canale del social networking.

    With an overreliance on gas, and with declining production from its flagship Zohr gas field, Egypt is struggling to keep the lights on.

    Egypt issued a tender to import nearly two million tons of fuel oil in May and June to meet its electricity needs as gas imports became too expensive. The summer brings high demand, as air conditioning units are turned on to combat the intense heat – average highs can reach 42 Celsius (108 Fahrenheit) in the south. Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly recently urged people to curb their energy usage to avoid blackouts.
