Lo staff di Facebook, come il social network stesso, sta attraversando giorni difficili dal punto di vista della privacy dei suoi utenti che continuano ad additarlo di continuo per le grane piantate in giro. E’ nuovo, il caso di una giovane ragazza italiana non iscritta al social network Facebook, che si è rivolta alla Aidacon (Associazione Italiana per la Difesa dell’ambiente e del Consumatore) per avviare un nuovo (l’ennesimo) processo giudiziario nei riguardi di Facebook e di un suo utente di cui si cerca l’indirizzo IP. Questo “simpatico” giovane, è reo di avere pubblicato alcuno foto della ragazza di poco tempo prima, in cui, ai tempi del liceo, la giovane si abbracciava con un vecchio amico. Da queste immagini, sarebbe scattata immediatamente la crisi sentimentale della ragazza con l’attuale (ex) fidanzato. Carlo Claps, responsabile legale della Aidacon, ha spiegato che al centro di questa situazione, risulta importante individuare nei “gravi danni che la giovane donna ha subito a causa della violazione della privacy messa in atto dalla pubblicazione delle foto da parte di un semplice conoscente e, quindi, senza alcuna sua autorizzazione. Sul network di Facebook c’è un uso indiscriminato di foto. Il legislatore o l’Autorità Garante dovranno presto intervenire. Abbiamo già diffidato l’utente ad eliminare le foto dalla rete, unitamente ai responsabili di Facebook. Ora si procederà innanzi all’Autorità Giudiziaria“.
Ai vertici del web, c’è sicuramente il rapporto tra la libertà di espressione degli utenti e la privacy del comune. Questo della privacy è il punto essenziale dove ad oggi, i responsabili legali di Facebook dovranno sempre più interrogarsi ma soprattutto intervenire mediante modifiche importanti al sistema di controllo.
