Lo avrete sicuramente notato, navigando su Wikipedia, negli ultimi giorni Jimmy Wales, ideatore dell’enciclopedia libera, sta chiedendo ai visitatori piccole donazioni per Wikimedia Foundation, indispensabili per garantire la sopravvivenza del sito.

Sergey Brin, fondatore di Google insieme a Larry Page, ha donato ben 500.000 dollari, attraverso la sua fondazione Brin Wojcicki Foundation, creata insieme alla moglie Anne Wojcicki.

Non è la prima volta che la fondazione Brin Wojcicki effettua grosse donazioni, qualche anno fa Brin ha versato soldi anche nelle casse della fondazione di Michael J. Fox.
