Vampire Wars è il nuovo gioco Facebook ambientato nel mondo delle tenebre. L’idea è venuta agli sviluppatori di Zynga, gli stessi di Texas Hold’Em e Mafia Wars, che sperano di replicare così il successo già ottenuto con i giochi precedenti. Ma adesso vediamo nei dettagli come funziona Vampire Wars.

La storia comincia con il nostro risveglio nella cripta, mutati in vampiri. Apriamo gli occhi, beviamo per la prima volta il sangue umano, e diventiamo coscienti della nostra forza e della nuova condizione di “creature del buio”: è il momento di cambiare aspetto e di personalizzare il nostro avatar da vampiro. Possiamo scegliere il sesso, il colore della pelle, dei capelli, gli abiti e gli accessori. Possiamo scegliere la casta di apparteneza, se preferiamo essere un vampiro di sangue nobile (noble vampire), un vampiro dei nostri tempi (modern vampire) o addirittura un discendente del primo vampiro apparso sulla terra (primeval vampire), guadagnandone in attacco, in salute, o in capacità difensive, a seconda della scelta. Fatto questo, diamoci un bel nome da vampiro, magari aiutandoci con un tool online che genera proprio nomi da vampiro, e andiamo a conoscere il nostro clan.

Vampire Wars ha infatti la particolarità di riunire tutti gli amici di Facebook che hanno installato questa applicazione sotto un unico clan, che dovrà lottare contro altri clan rivali. Andando su “combat” troverete una lista di altri clan che raggruppa vampiri di esperienza e di livello diverso che potrete attaccare. L’esito dello scontro sarà solo apparentemente casuale, poichè qua entreranno in gioco svariati fattori, come le abilità che sarete riusciti a conquistare, gli schiavi che avete sottomesso, i trofei che avete conquistato. E come si fa ad avere tanta forza? Completando le numerose Missioni che compongono il gioco, o apprendendo i segreti della Cripta. Ma di queste cose parleremo la prossima volta.
