The Social Network ha ricevuto ben 6 nomination ai Golden Globe 2011 dalla Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Il discusso film sulla nascita di Facebook e sul suo fondatore Mark Zuckerberg (proprio oggi eletto uomo dell’anno dal Time) ha fatto razzia di nomination, più di ogni altro film in gara quest’anno.

Tra le nomination, tre sono per i premi più prestigiosi: miglior film, miglior attore protagonista in un film drammatico (Jesse Eisenberg), miglior regista (David Fincher).

A queste si aggiungono le nominations per il miglior attore non protagonista (Andrew Garfield), la miglior sceneggiatura (Aaron Sorkin), e la miglior colonna sonora originale, composta da Trent Reznor e Atticus Ross.

I Golden Globe sono una specie di “test di ammissione” per gli Oscar di Hollywood, cioè hanno un certo peso nell’influenzare poi il giudizio dell’Academy. Ma è possibile che gli stessi Golden Globe siano stati a loro volta influenzati dalla popolarità di Facebook e del suo creatore?

    The Goodsons are part of a small but growing number of homeowners who are choosing to build energy-efficient “panelized” homes that are pre-made in a factory. The homes are better for the climate, and although they have a high upfront cost, several homeowners say their energy savings, quality of life and overall cost of living has greatly improved since moving in.
