Social game su Facebook: arriva Jurassic Farm

Jurassic Farm è il nuovo social game della 2Bsocial ideato da John Hammond che si ispira a Jurassic Park e permette di creare il proprio dinosauro personale, decorarlo e visitare le fattorie. Sono già oltre mille i fan sulla pagina dedicata e quasi quattromila gli utenti attivi mensilmente.

Al contrario di quanto può lasciare intendere il nome, Jurassic Farm non è una fattoria e non ha niente a che fare con i giochi sull’allevamento. Si tratta invece di un gioco di zoologia, in cui ci si deve prendere cura degli animali, ma dedicato solo ai dinosauri.

Ci si deve impegnare nel curarli, crescerli con cibo e acqua, e trarne profitto attraverso la vendita di uova. Assicurarsi che i dinosauri siano ben nutriti e dissetati è abbastanza facile: ad ogni visita sull’applicazione il giocatore riempie una vasca d’acqua e sfama il suo animale in base ai suoi gusti alimentari – a seconda della specie sarà erbivoro o carnivoro. Tra i cibi che si acquistano ce ne sono alcuni che saziano i dinosauri molto rapidamente, mentre le pietanze che non fanno per quella determinata specie rischia di non soddisfarli affatto. Inoltre è possibile comprare foreste per gli erbivori e isole per i carnivori.

Oltre alla nutrizione, i giocatori devono garantire anche la salute dei loro animali preistorici: ecco che entrano in gioco le medicine e le protezioni di ogni genere. Perché quando un dinosauro si ammala diventa verde e quindi più l’animale è verde, meno vale. Inoltre ci sono altri dinosauri predatori che appaiono ogni tanto nel gioco e cercano di catturare le uova o i cuccioli di dinosauro. In questo caso il giocatore deve ripararli “manualmente” con il proprio avatar o con del denaro virtuale, chiamato Gems, che si può comprare per costruire recinzioni che li tengono al sicuro per un po’.

Secondo Inside Social Games. ci sono ancora dei ritocchi da fare ma con un po’ di pazienza da parte degli utenti e di impegno da parte degli sviluppatori, l’applicazione promette bene.
