Il team di sviluppo di LinkedIn ha messo in rete la prima relase beta dell’applicazione dedicata agli smartphone basati su sistema operativo Google Android. Il software, può essere scaricato direttamente dal social network oppure dal Market Place di Android.

Il social network professionale, tenta così di estendere sempre di più la propria immagine, facendo si che (proprio come i più commerciali Facebook e Twitter), ci sia una diffusione del proprio brand anche in campo mobile. L’applicazione, infatti, ricordiamo che è già presente su iPhone in versione stabile.
Il software è compatibile con i device equipaggiati con il sistema operativo Android Eclair (versione 2.1) o superiore e funziona sia sulla rete 3G che sulla rete Wi-Fi.
Tra le features principali del social network in versione mobile, troviamo la possibilità di connettersi ai propri contatti, oltre che di inviare e ricevere gli aggiornamenti con gli stessi. Si può rispondere alle offerte di lavoro professionali e stabilire le nuove connessioni.
